Haircare

We offer 4 levels of stylists to meet your needs. All prices listed are starting prices and may vary depending on your stylist, each client’s needs, additional time and product. Price range is determined at consultation and are subject to change.

Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your appointment, or up to 50% of the service price may be charged.

Haircut $70+

Shoulder length or longer hair. Includes wash and blowdry.

Barber Cut $40+

Haircut done with clippers on the sides with scissors on top.

Pixie Cut $95+

Trendy specialty crop cut above the shoulders. Includes styling.

Partial Highlight $175+

Foiled highlights added to the crown and hairline to brighten around the face.

Includes 30g gloss

Full Highlight $200+

Foiled highlights starting at nape. Creates an all over blonde look.

Includes 60g gloss

All Over Color $115+

One color from roots to ends.

Touch Up $85 +

One color root retouch only. No more than 2 inches.

Balayage $200+ 

A hand-painted color technique used to create more “natural-looking” sun-kissed hair.

Cindy Gettys

Cindy is a spunky, warm hearted stylist and PaperDoll’s very own short hair specialist.  She has 15 years of experience and enjoys working with her clients one-on-one to create a unique style curated just for you!  From rainbow pixies, to sharp blonde bobs, to that perfect textured shag. She loves it all and welcomes any and all hair challenges as she loves getting those creative juices flowing to find great solutions. 

Grace Bareno

Grace is our salon “it-girl” stylist! Born & raised in San Diego, Grace began her career in the fashion industry before making the switch to the beauty industry by enrolling at Paul Mitchell the school. Once she graduated, she started her extensive training under our master stylists here at PaperDoll, evolving and growing her hairstyling skills. Specializing in color, long layered cuts & barber cuts, Grace’s main focus is making sure every client feels like the best version of themselves!

Maya Abassi

Zakiah Virtue

Zakiah, known affectionately by her clients as their "hairapist," has expertise in custom blonding, ranging from natural and seamless tones to global blonding! Additionally, she excels in creating dimensional brunettes, executing color corrections, and seamlessly integrating natural beaded hair extensions. Zakiah's journey in the hair industry began in Nevada, where her passion and skills bloomed. For her, the most rewarding aspect of being a hairstylist is the opportunity to forge meaningful bonds with each individual who entrusts their hair to her care. With her warm personality and attentive approach, she will not only transform your hair but also uplift your spirits!

Sarah LuAnn

Sarah brings 11 years of experience and educational based focus to her hairstyling career . She trained at Paul Mitchell and has continually enhanced her skills with advanced education from Wella International, Hair Dreams, IBE and others. Sarah’s specialty is blonding & extensions, varying from natural-looking ‘lived-in’ blonde to more detailed platinum and baby light styles, delicate invisible bead weft and tape-in extension methods. With a focus on precision and a flair for personalization, Sarah ensures each client’s experience is both comfortable and satisfying!

Jessica Spivey- Mackin

Jessica is one of our master stylists and a San Diego native. She started her career in 2011, where she spent the majority of her time as a stylist here in pacific beach. Besides her time being a local legend, she spent 3.5 years hairdressing in Dublin Ireland before her grand return to us at PaperDoll in 2022. She specializes in precision blonding and color corrections but is a true Jack of all trades. From fades to specialty coloring she can truly accommodate any of your needs! 

Alison Mondo

Alison is a young stylist that brings her eager to learn, positive energy to our salon! Born and raised in CA, she attended cosmetology school in Orange County and once she graduated made the move to San Diego to join our assisting program here at PaperDoll. Alison is continuously growing her knowledge by keeping up with the newest techniques and the latest trends within this ever-changing field!

Abby Cogswell

Abby is a talented hairstylist who recently moved to San Diego from Kansas City! With a passion for bright, beautiful blondes and custom vivid looks, she is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their perfect hair goals. However, what truly sets Abby apart is her commitment to creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere that fosters confidence and self-expression. Whether you're looking for a subtle change or a bold new look, Abby is always ready to listen and work with you to achieve your desired outcome. With her expertise and warm personality, you can trust Abby to bring out the best version of you!

Lisa Blackwell

Lisa is our color specialist and educator here in the salon! She started her career training under one of the most prestigious color specialists in San Diego—so she knows all of the ins and outs on everything color.  Finding yourself in her chair means you might get a crowd, all of us here in the salon are obsessed with watching her incredible technique and artistic talent.  Known as “The Balayage Queen” — she’ll give you the beautiful sun-kissed look you’ve been dreaming of!

Jaclyn Harwood

Jaclyn is trained and certified as a REDKEN Artist and enjoys using her knowledge to create exactly what her clients are envisioning when they sit down in her chair. When she is not styling hair, she is traveling the US bringing her knowledge and passion to salon professionals. Jaclyn’s specialty is blonding and color corrections with over 10 years of color and styling experience!

Stephanie Aretakis

Stephanie is our East-Coast gal, born and raised in New Jersey! With over 13 years of experience, she is passionate about making her clients feel beautiful and confident through her work as a hairstylist! Specializing in blonding, creative coloring, cutting and styling, Stephanie finds joy in catering to her clients needs and preferences, and it is this personalized touch that keeps her clients coming back. Outside of salon life, Stephanie loves photography, art, and her adorable 3 cats!

Lionel Swanson

Lionel is our salon charmer, striving to build a connection with each and every client and truly build a relationship to tailor every appointment! Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, he made the move to London, England, before settling in San Diego 4 years ago. His career in hairstyling is rooted in his experience embracing the beauty of different cultures and the creative outlet it has provided to express his artistry. Specializing in formulating the perfect blonde & dimensional brunettes, precision cuts, specifically short hair transformations, Lionel is constantly keeping up with the latest trends and techniques! 

Braylin McCartney

Braylin is our salon sweetheart, she brings warmth and expertise to every appointment, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone in her chair. With 9 years of experience as a hairstylist, her passion lies in haircutting, color, blonding and men’s cuts. She’s an expert in K-Tip extensions, where she skillfully combines color matching and cutting techniques to create a seamless blend that enhances her clients' natural beauty. Braylin's dedication to her craft and commitment to customer satisfaction make her a go-to stylist here at PaperDoll!

Cat Reese

Catherine, or “Cat”, is a talented stylist from Orange County who began her career in 2013. Her Paul Mitchell education, continuous training, and hard work has made her a well-rounded stylist, although she has a special love for blondes. Cat is all for healthy, effortless hair that compliments your inner beauty!
